Doing Business

While the infrastructure improvements are complex, the solution has already been evaluated and put in motion.  As this historic program moves toward the construction phase anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2025, the Grand Prairie Water Commission has begun the process of finding contractors for the work needed to construct a variety of infrastructure facilities, including 4 pump stations, 2 above ground water storage tanks, 1 underground water storage tank, and 60 miles of piping ranging from 16” to 66” diameter.  If you are a contractor interested in doing business with the Commission, please complete the form below.

The Commission plans to engage Disadvantaged/Minority/Women Business Enterprises (DBE, MBE, WBE) and local businesses in various elements of the design and construction of the new water source system.

The Grand Prairie Water Commission released an RFQ for Construction Management Support Services for Local and DBE firms.
